Vaping is a transition to a life without tobacco and then without addiction.

The Centaurus series is back with a mod that's bursting with colour! After the Centaurus Q200, the Quest and the Quest BF, it's now the turn of the Centaurus M200 box to make its appearance. An e-cigarette with a bold, distinctive design and seriously high build quality.

With a look like this, there's simply no going unnoticed! Made from an aluminium and stainless steel alloy, the Centaurus M200 box impresses with the quality of its finish. Its laser engravings give it a unique, authentic feel. Built for powerful vaping, you can push it all the way up to 200W.
It's available in 5 bright, eye-catching colours, plus 2 equally colourful limited editions.
The Lost Vape Centaurus M200 box comes fitted with interchangeable magnetic doors on each side. This means you can personalise your box however you like, which is great news for fashion victims like me!

As for weight, thanks to the materials used, the Centaurus M200 box weighs in at only around 150g (empty). This makes it a fairly lightweight e-cigarette, despite being a dual-battery (18650) box. It's easy to hold and suits pretty much anyone.

For this review, I fitted the Centaurus M200 box with a Dead Rabbit V3 RDA from Hellvape, allowing for a really powerful vape, packed with vapour and flavour. The mod is also compatible with the vast majority of clearomisers and atomisers on the market.

As if its design wasn't enough, the Lost Vape Centaurus M200 box also stands out thanks to its fire button. Surrounding it is a 360-degree rotating dial for adjusting wattage. This can, of course, be locked by pressing the fire button three times in quick succession, handy for avoiding an unexpectedly huge cloud after accidentally bumping the wattage!

What's more, a circular LED is built into the ring around the fire button to show the Centaurus M200 box's battery level. It's a proper little rainbow, with 5 different colours depending on the remaining battery percentage. The colour changes every 20%: starting with purple between 100 and 80%, then green from 60 to 80%, blue from 40 to 60%, white from 20 to 40%, and finally red below 20%. Phew, managed to get through that without missing one!
On the same face as the fire button, you'll find an LED screen displaying all the information vapers need. The Lost Vape Centaurus M200 box keeps things simple, showing wattage, coil resistance in ohms, puff count, as well as draw time.
Two modes are available on the Centaurus M200 box: "Normal" mode and "RDA DIY" mode. It's a shame there's no real difference between the two beyond a change in interface colour and the appearance of a voltage indicator. As for the vape itself, I didn't notice any difference at all.

Staying true to this focus on ease of use, an on/off switch has also made its way onto this new Centaurus M200 mod, making it really easy to turn your box on or off. Underneath it, a USB-C port allows for quick charging of the mod, with the cable included as standard. It's a point worth repeating: USB charging should only be used sparingly. To protect your batteries, it's best to use a dedicated battery charger to top up your power!
The Lost Vape Centaurus M200 box is, then, a genuinely high-quality, very easy-to-use mod. Its design and finish make it a truly unique e-cigarette, with plenty of scope for personalisation.
