How do electronic hookahs work ?

Electronic hookahs operate on the same principle as a classic electronic cigarette. An e-liquid is heated to transform it into vapour. Vapers won't feel out of place when using an electronic hookah. In fact, you can think of an e-hookah as a pod, but larger in size, power, and e-liquid capacity. Additionally, electronic hookahs carry the philosophy of traditional hookahs and shishas, focusing on the social aspect of gathering together to enjoy a relaxing vape session. However, the advantage of electronic hookahs is their mobility. Like pods, you can take your e-hookah wherever you want. Similar to rechargeable puff electronic cigarettes or most pods, electronic hookahs are draw-activated. There's no need to press a button to start vaporising the e-liquid. You simply need to inhale from the mouthpiece, which is intentionally made quite large to resemble that of traditional hookahs.

What is an electronic hookah made of ?

An electronic hookah, being an electronic cigarette in the shape of a traditional hookah, includes all the components of the latter. It features a tank that holds the e-liquid, which has a larger capacity than most electronic cigarettes. For example, the Hookah Air electronic hookah by Fumytech offers a 6 ml capacity, ensuring long vaping sessions. The Ehuka electronic hookah, on the other hand, has an even larger capacity of 10 ml, providing greater autonomy.

Inspired by the pod format, the tank is integrated into a cartridge that also contains a coil. These cartridges are designed for direct lung vaping, producing thick vapour similar to that of a classic hookah. Therefore, it is recommended to use e-liquids with more than 50% vegetable glycerine.

Electronic hookahs are equipped with an integrated battery to provide the necessary power for vaporising the e-liquid. This battery is rechargeable via a USB-C port.

What is the price of an e-hookah ?

Electronic hookahs come in various price ranges, offering a variety of options to suit different budgets and preferences. This is a pod with a larger format to accommodate its 3,200 mAh battery, providing the experience of a real hookah with vapour clouds. You can also opt for the Ehuka electronic hookah, which has the design of a traditional hookah, priced at €88.90. This higher price is due to the accessories that come with the Ehuka.

Accessories for Electronic Hookahs

The electronic hookah is a product with many accessories. These are sometimes included with the e-hookah, as with the Ehuka electronic hookah, or sold separately, as with the Hookah Air by Fumytech. With the Ehuka electronic hookah, you will find a PCTG vase to hold water and rediscover the sensations of a traditional hookah. It also includes LED lights for added visual effects. For more authenticity, the Ehuka electronic hookah also comes with a long hose, and at the end of this hose, there is a fairly thin mouthpiece. As for the Hookah Air by Fumytech, there is the Hookah Dock Fumytech, sold separately. This product resembles a docking station for the Hookah Air. The Hookah Dock Fumytech features a tube in which the Hookah Air is inserted, along with a long hose for an optimal experience.

Can I vape e-liquids with nicotine in my electronic hookah ?

An electronic hookah works like an electronic cigarette kit, so you can vape all your favourite e-liquids. Whether they contain nicotine or not, you can enjoy the capabilities of your e-hookah. However, since it's designed for direct inhalation with relatively high power, the coils will not be suitable for e-liquids with nicotine salts. Nicotine salt liquids are meant to be vaped at relatively low power. We also recommend using e-liquids with more than 50% vegetable glycerine.
