I am not a huge fan of High Ends Mods, boxes with double batteries and other portable cookers, but I must admit that I had a huge crush for the signed set-up Ijoy and Limitless Mod Co: Limitless Mod Box and the 2 Limitless RDTA. In effect the Limitless Mod and the Limitless RDTA (the Plus and the Standard) have really surprised me. How this Pachyderm set up bring me down to my knees? This is what we are going to try and understand by testing the Limitless Mod, Limitless RDTA Plus and RDTA Standard.
The Limitless Box Mod 200 is, as indicated by the name a box of 200 Watts and is need of 2 batteries in order for it to function. The home firmware ultimate geek option. The 2 fronts can be replaced with other models. This is a gimmick from the American Limitless Mod Co, modify the look of a Mod with different accessories. Example, The Limitless Body, turbulent Meca Mod and the number of sleeves in different colours. The box has the same principal but with less choice of colours, however this is just for the moment. All of this is inexpensive, but very beautiful!
The most surprising whilst we manipulate the mod for the first time is the effect “Block” which it brings out. Its square and heavy. Near enough 400g in the hand, with 2 batteries and the RDTA screwed on top. For the small history Limitless Mod have sacrificed 6 months of work on the design and conception of the box. This is a huge block in the hand, but for the eyes it’s another thing. The 2 bevelled corners give the effect, as it has broken the parallelepiped lines. The logo has found a better place: in the front. The box has the sale lines as the logo. Beautiful work.
Another good idea, the large 215mm/10mm screen which displays a beautiful Sky Blue colour. This beautiful screen is agreeable and displays the level of the battery in one line. It is a shame that we cannot see the level of each battery. Another inconvenience: for more design the screen is protected with a plate giving it a mirror effect. Yes, it is pretty but also a trap for fingerprints. And like the switches are in this same material. However, the global effect is strong. It is Solid!!
Concerning the switches, they are metallic and silent, but it is a shame that they are quite small. Ergonomically, disappointing seeing the length and width of the box. If Limitless was not so high as it should be (92mm), It is much larger than the Hexohm for example: 63.5mm. In thickness is it perfectly flush with the Limitless RDTA, with a diameter of 25mm.
The firmware is therefore made in Limitless and the piloting is particular. For example, pressing the settings button will pass over to the pull mode and more. There are 3, and the mode “strong” is very practical for larger coils in Clapton: the lighting of the coils is immediate. The box allows you to store 3 profiles in the memory
We pass over to the Limitless RDTA which comes to offer 1mm in diameter and also with the Plus version which has arrived just shortly after the first RDTA. Certain V1 purchaser must be raging. Especially if the RDTA Plus offers more beautiful ornaments which slam the retinas. They should have thought about this before ...!
The Limitless RDTA is however a cool atomiser in top coil, just as I like it. A Velocity Plate in the Plus version gratifies us a second face by the top. And 2 large blue titan screws! In Titan because they are much more solid, especially when screwing big coils. Why Blue, that I’m going to ignore, but surely to give it a look like no one has ever done before in the world (apart from in pink). However, on the 2 RDTA, the construction is simple gracious to the Velocity. And the plate possesses a large OC which can give a good heart to your most crazy construction of coils. Note, that Limitless by Ijoy offers 2 coils which seem to be in Alien Clapton. Around 0.25Ω per coil. This is no joke!
The only difficulty with the construction carefully dosing the quantity of cotton. The passage for the wicks are enormous and to avoid any leakage, you must put in large moustaches of fiber to clog the plate. You are not obliged to put cotton in the bottom of the tank. The cotton will be soaked when vaping inclined with the atomiser. Even more, putting in a lot fiber does reduce the space for liquid.
The lateral filling does not like large pipettes
Perfect transition for speaking about the contents: The tanks, between the RDTA and the RDTA Plus, we pass from a capacity of 4ml to 6.3ml. Which is useful when constructing coils from double to quad that is gourmet for liquids.
The filling is done without having to use pipettes of a medium size. With the 2 models it is simple enough to gently lift the tank to access one of the lateral vents which are quite large. This vent is situated under the plate to avoid all contact with the coil. To resume there is no piece that needs to be detached, unscrewed to effectuate the filling of e-liquid, which is practical and good for those who are lazy. The entry is quite limited for pipettes. You must be very careful if using a pipette.
Airflow avec vue sur coil !
In subject to the airflow, this is pure happiness. 2 vents, pretty much discreet are situated straight if front of the superior coils. The ventilation is optimal. If the vape is to aired, it is simple enough to turn the top cap and the flux of air is adjusted. Concretely the choice is quite large and is convenient for all tastes. The top cap in Delrin is fixed by 2 O joints and does not rotate. All of this is comfort.
In mono-coil with the reducer
The excellent idea about Limitless Plus is that it is supplied with a reduction chamber for mono coils. Ijoy have been really generous with this package. The reducer is unfortunately not in the first model which is cruelly its default. In effect, the reducer allows you to test the RDTA in all configurations less subohmesques and turns towards the construction for flavours than vape. And you can save a substantial amount of liquid.

In mono and double coils (I have not tried the quad coils) the atomiser and the box equally holds there promise. We are very close to a dripper for the flavours and the airflow options are ideal. In dual coils the vape is guaranteed. We also appreciate how easy it is to construct with 2 screws on the top which also provides good support.
One regret: The drip tip in Delrin with large edges and which is quite uncomfortable. We can actually install the 11mm drip tip on the RDTA Plus. But not on the first version with a wide bore of 12mm.
On word with the Gold Plated connection of the Limitless which exceed for it to be connected with all Mods. On the Limitless box, the floating pin is robust and is you must press down on the atomiser for it to be screwed in. This is another plus with manufacturing quality of the RDTA.

What is good when there is a set up like this, is to imagine all possibilities of construction which is offered to you, with all types of vape in CT or Power Mode, mono, dual and quad coil etc.… This adds an agreeable serenity which releases quality fabrication of both products. Despite the chipset which demands running time, the combination is especially pleasure for the eyes. Oh, how beautiful! However, we vape in salon or terrace mode because evidently the weight and the volume of the set up calms the temptation of going for a walk and showing off on the beach.
