BORN TO DIY 10 ML 50/50 BASE
Prepare Rapidly and Simply your e-liquids with the base Born To DIY Le Petit Vapoteur. The base Born To DIY is ready to use, simple enough to add the aroma of your choice, eventually with additives if needed.
To prepare the liquid in 50/50 - PG/VG, it is generally advised to add 10% to 15% of aroma.
For example: A 10ml Vial:
- 1ml of Aroma (minimum) or (10%)
- 9ml of Base (maximum) or (90%)
The base Born To DIY is already composed with Nicotine with a choice of: 3mg, 6mg, 12mg, 16mg/ml
The base Born To DIY meets pharmaceutical quality standards. With the composition 50% in Propylene Glycol (PG) and 50% Vegetable Glycerine (VG) for a good balance between flavours and vape.
The Propylene Glycol promotes the fluidification and expression of the aroma aswell as the hit. The Vegetable Glycerine allows the production of the vape.
There is a choice of Nicotine levels:3mg, 6mg, 12mg, 16mg. Conditioned in a 10ml PET vial with a Spout.

Choice of Nicotine in the Base:
The Nicotine Base in 10ml Born To DIY 50/50, propose 4 Levels of Nicotine: 3 mg, 6 mg and 12 mg/ml and 16mg/ml
- If you are strongly dependent on nicotine, we advise you to choose a 500ml liquid base with a nicotine level of 16mg/ml to begin with associated with powerful, variable voltage electronic cigarette which will allow you to increase the amount of vapor and hit in the throat.
- If you are moderately dependent on nicotine, we advise you to choose a 10ml liquid base with a Nicotine level of 12mg/ml.
- If you are weakly dependent on nicotine, we advise you to choose a 10ml liquid base with a Nicotine level of 3mg to 6mg/ml.
- If you are not dependent on nicotine, we advise you to choose our liquid base without Nicotine. The absence of nicotine decreases the hit in strong flavours such as Iced Mint or other Mint Tobacco Blends
- If you are a non-smoker, avoid absolutely e-liquids containing nicotine. In regular smokers, the number of nicotinic receptors are highly increased limiting the effects of nicotine, however for a non-smoker the risk is highly dependent and overdosing is real.

Warning : Nicotine is a product highly dangerous, even when diluted, so please handle with precaution. Always wear protection gloves and protection glasses when handling the 10ml Nicotine Base - 50/50 of Born To DIY.
Store your Vials in a well-protected place only accessible for yourself (Secured Lock), and away from light.
Make your own e-liquid:
Ingredients:
- A ready-to-use base
- One or more concentrated aromas.
- Optional: an additive (+/- sugar, +/- acid, balancing agent, bonbon effect…).
Material:
- A big 10 ml to 30 ml syringe for the bases
- A smaller 1 ml one for the aromas
- 5 ml/10 ml/30 ml plastic or glass bottles for your formulations
- Latex gloves
- Safety goggles
Formulation:
- WASH YOUR HANDS, KEEP CHILDREN AWAY WHEN WORKING, ON A CLEAN WORK SURFACE.
- Using the syringe or a small dropper, fill an empty bottle with your ready-to-use base (to produce 10 ml of e-liquid: put in 8 ml of base, the remaining +/- 2 ml will be for aromas and additives).
- As the base contains nicotine, it must be handled with extreme care. We recommend that you wear latex gloves and safety goggles for maximum safety.
- Shake the bottles of aroma before use.
- Add a few drops of aroma(s) (See the recommended dosages on the product notice).
- Optional: add one or more additives.
- Shake the bottle well for 10 to 20 seconds and then let it stand for maturation of the aromas.
- Wash your hands again, clean your material and work surface.
- Make a note of your recipe for your records or to pass on.
Maturation:
Maturation is a compulsory stage and is the period where the flavours in an e-liquid formulation develop. The aromas do not express themselves immediately in fact and they need:
- a minimum maturation period of 15 days if not several weeks for tobacco type aromas.
- a minimum maturation period of 48h for other types.
For best results, you should shake the flask once formulation is finished and a little each day to diffuse the aroma well.
Please not that the maturation period depends on the base used. The higher the vegetable glycerine content in the base, the longer the maturation period.
Tasting:
Once the maturation period is finished, your e-liquid is ready to taste. If you find the restitution of flavours too weak, you can add a few drops of aroma and let the formulation stand again for a minimum of 48h. On the other hand, if the liquid is too strong, you can dilute it by adding more base formulation.
- Too high dosage = need to dilute: add base formulation
- Too low dosage = need to add a few drops of aroma
Advice:
- Start with just one aroma before envisaging mixtures with several aromas.
- For additives (optional), stay in a proportion of 1 to 3% of your base formulation mixture + concentrated aroma(s), as the additives are very powerful in general.
- Label your formulations (aroma(s), dosage, nicotine content, (date of production)
- Prepare your new recipes in 10 ml bottles, but in small 5 ml quantities, to allow for readjustments to the aroma or base.
- Never skip the maturation stage. To shorten the waiting period, you can stir the product from time to time to encourage the maturation.
