Mascarade 30 ml Concentrate

By traveling to the 4 corners of the world, the Le Petit Vapoteur team has discovered cultural traditions of different nations. By going to the remote regions and meeting the local population, they have become acquainted with community rites and ceremonies, some of which are a thousand years old. A real culture shock but our team could not help but try to understand all its faces. 

It is by participating in the diverse festivals, by tasting all the foods, being disguised and dancing all night long with the locals that our voyagers are enlightened. A real revelation, it is impossible for those to remove this idea from their minds. It is very simple to share the mass of culture with vapers all over the world. 

This is why they have decided to amass a multitude of local products best to transcribe the sensation felt, through a new range of “Mascarade” e liquids. 

At the heart of the gourmet range, there is the Tsam which holds its name from the traditional mongolian dance which is effectuated with masks and disguises which refers to the legendary buddhists 

Our travelers have compared this choreography to a sumptuous nut milk, gourmet, a gourmet recipe full of comfort. 

Most punchy, you will find Goroka, in reference to the dance competition of the same name between the Papuan clans, Papua New-Guinea, with the required attire for the event. But what could be more traditional in this part of the world than a good rum accompanied with delicious vanilla pods dipped in creamy and unctuous custard. 

Festa or the Italian charm, our mediterranean neighbours are not last when it comes to costume balls. What better way to represent this with a crunchy muesli covered with juicy pear. A gourmet and fruity recipe which will make your taste buds dance.

The Mascarade concentrate aromas are conditioned in a 30 ml bottle, to be mixed in a PG/VG base of your choice. The advised dosage for this is 15% in a 50/50 PG/VG base.

Preparation of your Concentrate Mascarade

Ingredients :

• A ready-to-use base with PG/VG depending on your coil
• One or more simple aromas for your recipe or concentrates.
• Optional: an additive if you wish to modify the aspect of the recipe (+/- sugar, +/- acid, balancing agent, bonbon effect…)

Material :

• A large syringe 10 ml to 30 ml for the bases
• A smaller 1 ml one for the aromas 
• 5 ml/10 ml/30 ml plastic bottles or in glass for your formulations
• Latex gloves

Preparation :

• WASH YOUR HANDS, KEEP CHILDREN AWAY WHEN WORKING, ON A CLEAN WORK SURFACE.
• Using the syringe or a small dropper, fill an empty bottle with your ready-to-use base (to produce 10 ml of e-liquid: put in 8 ml of base, the remaining +/- 2 ml will be for aromas and additives).
• As the base contains nicotine, it must be handled with extreme care. We recommend that you wear latex gloves and safety goggles for maximum safety.
• Shake the bottles of aroma before use.
• Add a few drops of aroma(s) (See the recommended dosages on the product notice). 
• Optional: add one or more additives.
• Shake the bottle well for 10 to 20 seconds and then let it stand for maturation of the aromas.
• Wash your hands again, clean your material and work surface.
• Make a note of your recipe for your records or to pass on.

Maturation:

Maturation is a compulsory stage and is the period where the flavours in an e-liquid formulation develop. The aromas do not express themselves immediately in fact and they need: 

• a minimum maturation period of 7 - 15 days if not several weeks for tobacco type aromas.
• a minimum maturation period of 48h for other types.

For best results, you should shake the flask once formulation is finished and a little each day to diffuse the aroma well.

Please note that the maturation period depends on the base used. The higher the vegetable glycerine content in the base, the longer the maturation period.

Tasting: 

Once the maturation period is finished, your e-liquid is ready to taste. If you find the restitution of flavours too weak, you can add a few drops of aroma and let the formulation stand again for a minimum of 48h. On the other hand, if the liquid is too strong, you can dilute it by adding more base formulation.

• Too high dosage = need to dilute: add base formulation
• Too low dosage = need to add a few drops of aroma

Conservation :

For good conservation of your DIY e liquid we recommend that you keep juices protected from light, in a dry place, and at room temperature. If you do not wish to consume your e liquid quickly it is preferable not to carry out the preparation directly. 

Advice:

• Start with just one aroma before envisaging mixtures with several aromas. 
• For additives (optional), stay in a proportion of 1 to 3% of your base formulation mixture + concentrated aroma(s), as the additives are very powerful in general.
• Label your formulations (aroma(s), dosage, nicotine content, (date of production)
• Prepare your new recipes in 10 ml bottles, but in small 5 ml quantities, to allow for readjustments to the aroma or base.
